Families in Recovery

Families in Recovery is an experiential and educational program written by a person in long term recovery. This program addresses the challenges and experiences common to parents in recovery, including: identifying strengths, needs, and resiliencies; exploring healthy parenting in balance with recovery needs, understanding the person-focused and family-centered communication styles; developing healthy coping skills and modeling self-care; coping with guilt, shame and stigma; and developing a personalized family blueprint for overall wellness. 

  • This program is highly recommended if you are parenting in recovery.

  • Families in Recovery meets weekly for 7 weeks & Each session lasts for 1 ½ to 2 hours.  

  • This program is  offered by the Family Center 2-3 times a year.

  • Participants receive a certificate of completion if they complete the program.

  • This program is highly recommended if you are parenting in recovery.
